আমি হিমালয় দেখিনি

অদম্য অবিচল দৃঢ়চেতা তিনি
অত‍্যাচারীর বুকে কাঁপন যিনি
গরীব দুখীর বড় আপন তিনি,
স্বাধীনতার স্থপতি যিনি
অমর অব‍্যয় অক্ষয়।।

তিনি ভাষাহীনের মুখের ভাষা
যিনি দিশাহারার আলোর দিশা
তিনি বঞ্চিত জাতির শেষ ঠিকানা
মানচিত্র বর্ণমালা পতাকার নিশানা,
আজ লক্ষ মুজিব ঘরে ঘরে
যারা অবিচল তাঁর চেতনায়।।

যাঁর হুঙ্কারে কাঁপতো জালিম শাহীরা
তাঁর প্রতিবাদে প্রাণ পেতো বঞ্চিতরা
যাঁর মত নেতা কেউ বিশ্বে মাঝে নয়
তাঁর হাতে এলো এ জাতির বিজয়,
স্বর্ণাক্ষরে তাঁর লেখা রবে নাম
যতদিন না হবে মহাপ্রলয়।।
